Do I need a gib fixer or a gib stopper?

Usually both. Fixing is the boards going up. Stopping is everything after: taping the joints, coating them, sanding flat ready for paint.

We do the whole lot, so you're not chasing two trades.

What will it cost?

Depends on the size of the space, the finish level and how much prep the walls need. A patch repair and a full new build are different orders of money.

Send photos or plans and we'll come back with a number, not a range. Quotes are free and there's no obligation.

How much mess does the sanding make?

Stopping dust is the finest dust on a site, and sanding is where it comes from. It is the last stage, after the coats are built and dry.

Sheets go down and the doorways are closed off before a sander starts, so the dust stays in the room we are working in and the rooms you are living in stay clean.
